"Provoking and heating up the atmosphere." The general assessed the Russian strategy.

"Provoking and heating up the atmosphere." The general assessed the Russian strategy.

"Everything that's happening in the airspace and at sea right now is being monitored by the Russians," said General Marek Dukaczewski, commenting on Moscow's recent provocations. In "Szubartowicz's Point of View," he pointed to the strategy the Russians are adopting. "They're gaining knowledge from us that is invaluable from a radiological perspective," he said.

General Marek Dukaczewski was a guest on Friday's "Szubartowicz's Point of View." Przemysław Szubartowicz's guest addressed Friday's incident of a security zone violation, when two Russian fighter jets made a low pass over the Petrobaltic platform in the Baltic Sea. As indicated by Lieutenant Colonel Jacek Goryszewski, spokesman for the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command, Polish airspace was not violated.

According to Dukaczewski, this is one element in a whole cycle of Russian activities. He pointed out that such overflights could be "aimed at provoking and fueling an atmosphere of division in countries like ours." According to the expert, another goal of such actions could be "to test what kind of actions we, as a NATO member, undertake and how we activate countermeasures ."

"The Russians are recording all of this," Dukaczewski noted. " They've developed electronic warfare systems and radar systems . Everything that's happening in the airspace and at sea is being monitored by them," he added.

An expert on Russian strategy: "They're intercepting frequencies, trying to break codes."

The expert also recalled an incident in which Belarus informed Poland of approaching drones . On the night of September 9-10, Russia attacked Ukraine, and Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by drones. Belarus notified Poland and Lithuania of drones approaching their territory, a fact confirmed by General Paweł Murawiejka.

"We wondered why Belarus informed us that drones were entering Polish airspace. After all, such a signal transmitted to a NATO country causes that country to activate not only stationary, permanently deployed radar systems , but also those that will operate in wartime," Dukaczewski said.

"The Russians on the other side have their own tracking systems, they intercept frequencies, and they try to break the codes they intercept . They gain knowledge from us that is invaluable from a radiological perspective, especially in times of threat and war," the expert continued, emphasizing that " every test is part of preparation ."

"We took the actions we should have." Dukaczewski assesses the actions of the services.

Przemysław Szubartowicz's guest also pointed out that in the event of incidents of violations of Polish airspace by Russian drones and other events posing a threat to our country, the President and the Council of Ministers should take "exactly the same position."

Speaking about this, he recalled an incident in which a house in Wyryki near Włodawa (Lublin Voivodeship) was damaged during a violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones. According to the services' final report, the building was damaged not by a foreign drone, but by a missile fired from a Polish F-16.

" Our region contained targets launched by a country that is at war with our neighbor . We took the actions we should have taken. It's clear that the consequences of these actions can sometimes be negative for residents of the areas where such activities are carried out," Dukaczewski said.

"I believe that what is particularly important has and should be covered so far, such as analyzing the trajectory of these missiles, whether these drones were heading towards critical infrastructure in Poland, or whether they entered our territory completely by accident, as our adversaries try to downplay," he added. " We will defend, and even in the case of defense, there may be cases where those defending are at fault, " the expert concluded.
